Terms of Service

1. What Laterr does

Laterr lets you schedule messages (text and/or voice) to be delivered to yourself at a future date via email or phone call. Email delivery is free. Phone call delivery is a paid service.

2. Account & identity

Laterr does not require account creation. You are identified by your email address. For paid delivery methods, you must verify your phone number via one-time code.

3. Payments & refunds

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe
  • Phone Call delivery: $1.49 per message
  • Email delivery: free
  • You may cancel any pending message using the link in your confirmation email
  • Cancelling a paid message triggers a full refund (5-10 business days)
  • If delivery fails, you are eligible for a full refund

4. Message content

  • You are responsible for the content of your messages
  • Messages are delivered only to the email/phone you provide
  • Text messages are limited to 500 characters
  • Voice recordings are limited to 3 minutes and 10MB
  • We reserve the right to reject messages that violate applicable laws

5. Delivery

  • We make reasonable efforts to deliver messages at the scheduled time
  • Delivery depends on third-party services (Twilio, Resend) and is not guaranteed to the minute
  • Messages are checked for delivery periodically
  • If delivery fails, we will notify you by email

6. Cancellation

You may cancel any pending (not yet delivered) message by clicking the cancellation link in your confirmation email. Once a message has been delivered, it cannot be undone.

7. Promotional emails

If you opt in, we may send occasional reminders to write new messages (maximum 2 per month). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails.

8. Limitation of liability

Laterr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Delayed or failed message delivery
  • Third-party service outages (Twilio, Stripe, etc.)
  • Loss of message content

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific message in question.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Laterr after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
